Spero Dedes was born on February 27, 1979, in Paramus, New Jersey, United States. He is a graduate of Paramus High School and a 2001 graduate of Fordham University in New York. Dedes is the radio voice of the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as a play-by-play announcer and host for NFL Network. On Sunday’s during the NFL season, Dedes is the lead host of the network’s “NFL GameDay Morning” pregame show with Warren Sapp, Marshall Faulk, and Steve Mariucci

From 2006 to 2011, he served as a host/play-by-play announcer for NFL Network, where he hosted NFL Total Access Monday, providing both pregame and postgame news and analysis surrounding the Monday Night Football matchup.
